WHAT HAPPENS BEFORE AND AFTER A BOOB JOB?

Before and after a boob job, several expectations and changes should be considered. If you want to get the best boob job results, you will need to consider various choices—such as breast implant size, projection, filling, and shape, along with incision type and implant placement—when preparing for breast augmentation. When describing the size of implants chosen for a boob job, CCs or cubic centimeters are typically used. The higher the CCs in the implant, the larger it will be.

The process before and after a boob job encompasses vital phases in the surgical journey. Preparation involves thorough consultation with a board-certified plastic surgeon to discuss implant choices, sizing, and medical history. Pre-surgery, patients are often advised to cease smoking and avoid specific medications that could affect healing. Recovery entails managing expected side effects like swelling, bruising, and discomfort for several weeks.

Thinking of a boob job? How much it costs will probably be one of the first things you think about, in addition to other boob job before and after details. We will explain more about boob job cost when you meet with us for a consultation.

What Happens After a Breast Augmentation Procedure?

Following breast augmentation, your breasts will be wrapped in gauze dressings and an elastic bandage or support bra. This will help to keep swelling down and provide support for the breasts as they heal.

Once you are stable for discharge, you will be allowed to go home if you are having outpatient surgery. Dr. Sood and his team will give you post-operative guidelines for breast augmentation recovery and provide certain medications or a prescription.
