WHAT ARE SOME FACTORS TO CONSIDER IN THE PRICE OF LIPOSUCTION?

The cost of liposuction may be lower or higher depending on several factors. Knowing about these factors will help you to know what to ask and how to think about liposuction costs when you’re having a consultation. The type of liposuction you have, your provider, anesthesiologist, location, and recovery are some of the main variables that affect the cost.

THE AVERAGE COST OF LIPOSUCTION: WHICH AREAS OF THE BODY CAN YOU GET LIPOSUCTION ON AND WHAT IS THEIR IMPACT ON THE COST OF LIPOSUCTION?

Liposuction can be beneficial for many areas of the body, including abdominal liposuction or belly liposuction for stomach fat removal, chin lipo or neck liposuction for reducing a double chin, arm lipo for sleeker and more sculpted arms, thigh liposuction to sculpt and re-shape the legs, and much more.

Patients will often ask us things like, “What is the average cost of liposuction of the stomach?” “How much will chin fat removal cost?” or “What is the cost of full body liposuction?” The body area that you get liposuction on can also have an impact on cost. The cost of lipo can be affected by the body part and how much fat there is to remove. This means that the cost of tummy liposuction may be different from the price of liposuction of other body areas.

For example, chin liposuction costs or double chin liposuction costs tend to be lower since the submental area is smaller. Face lipo costs might likewise be lower compared to liposuction of other areas. Stomach lipo costs or stomach fat removal surgery costs tend to be higher since this is a larger area. The cost of arm lipo is lower compared to tummy liposuction costs but still higher than some others as this is a medium-sized area.

Gender is another aspect to take into account. Men’s lipo costs might be affected by the fact that men tend to be larger than women in areas where they commonly get liposuction such as the abdomen and flank areas.

LIPO PRICES: TYPES OF LIPOSUCTION AND COSTS

The cost of lipo is also affected by the procedure type. Tumescent liposuction is generally the most expensive. The cost of VASER lipo is on the higher end as well, and laser-assisted liposuction or laser lipo cost tends to be lower than that of those other two types, but higher than radiofrequency-assisted liposuction and water-jet assisted liposuction.

LIPO PRICES: WHICH PROCEDURES ARE AVAILABLE ASIDE FROM LIPOSUCTION?

If you are thinking of lipo cost, you may also want to compare the price to that of other procedures. Sood Center provides a full range of cosmetic surgery procedures to enhance body contours, such as breast augmentation, breast lift, tummy tuck, and Brazilian butt lift surgery. These procedures often complement liposuction. Combining liposuction and tummy tuck surgery can help to optimize the results of abdominoplasty surgery.

What Happens After a Breast Augmentation Procedure?

Following breast augmentation, your breasts will be wrapped in gauze dressings and an elastic bandage or support bra. This will help to keep swelling down and provide support for the breasts as they heal.

Once you are stable for discharge, you will be allowed to go home if you are having outpatient surgery. Dr. Sood and his team will give you post-operative guidelines for breast augmentation recovery and provide certain medications or a prescription.
