Women who live in Cape May, NJ who want to improve the look and size of their breasts can get great results with breast augmentation through the work of New Jersey, board-certified plastic and reconstruction surgeon Dr. Mohit Sood, of The Sood Center. Dr. Sood is a highly experienced plastic surgeon and an expert at enhancing the appearance and feel of women’s breasts.
What Happens During Breast Augmentation Surgery?
During the procedure, breast implants are placed inside the patient’s natural breasts. This procedure will take about two hours and can be done as an inpatient or with an overnight hospital stay, depending on the patient and the circumstances of the surgery.
What are the Benefits of Breast Augmentation Surgery?
- The increase in breast size and fullness.
- Better self-esteem and confidence.
- An attractive, uniform appearance.
- Immediate results.
How is the Procedure Performed?
A breast augmentation will take place in a hospital under general anesthesia. During the surgery, Dr. Sood will make an incision into each breast, making a place for the implant. The pockets for insertion of the implant will be under the pectoral muscle (submuscular) or behind the breast tissue and on top of the pectoral muscle (submammary).
Once the implants have been placed successfully, the incisions will be sutured in layers to close the breast tissue. The outside incision will also be sutured or taped shut.
After recovery, the patient can enjoy more attractive and fuller breasts.
